The course is held entirely online, from any computer with an internet connection. It is organized with lectures, exercises, and individual simulations. A series of online meetings with a professional instructor is included, providing attentive and precise feedback. The course is always active, adapting to the needs of the candidates; each student can follow the course at their own pace.

It should be emphasized that our course is "active," requiring commitment to complete the exercises; it is not a simple, sterile e-learning course, a passive delivery of information.

These are not sterile video lessons.

CONTENTS

Our research-based content has become the design standard for the State Architecture Exam and the examination boards.

You will have the confidence that the examination boards share the content.

Lately, the State Architecture Exam has become increasingly complex, with requirements that leave no room for improvisation.

The entire architectural or urban planning system is codified, and only with the perfect execution of each individual part is the result guaranteed.

N.B.: You can start the course at any time, as long as the lessons are individual and the days/times are agreed upon with the instructor (even on weekends). Attending the course during the week (once or twice) depends on the student's availability and the time they have to study.

COURSE OUTLINE

The course is intended for graduates in classes 4, 8 (Bachelor's Degree in Architectural and Building Engineering Sciences, Ministerial Decree 509/99), L-17, L-7, L-23 (Architectural Sciences, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Building Sciences and Techniques, Ministerial Decree 270/04), and graduates in all qualifications that provide access to the profession of Architecture – Section B, Sector A.

The skills assigned to the junior architect are listed in paragraph "a" of Article 16, Section 5, of the Presidential Decree. 328/01, which states:

"The professional activity of those registered in Section B, pursuant to and for the purposes of Article 1, paragraph 2, without prejudice to the reservations and responsibilities already established by current legislation, shall include:

a) for the "architecture" sector: activities based on the application of science, aimed at contributing to and collaborating in the design, construction management, appraisal, and inspection of construction projects, including public works; design, construction management, supervision, measurement, accounting, and settlement of simple civil constructions, using standardized methodologies; and direct and instrumental surveys of current and historic buildings."

"From experience, the exam is similar to the State exam for Senior Architects, with a design focus on technology and history."

However, our course is sensitive to the different academic backgrounds, meaning different lessons but with the same content.

The Junior Architect State Exam Course prepares students for the required exams.

A dedicated teaching method for Junior Architects quickly fills in any gaps in their university studies.

Our course is essentially structured into three sessions:

#1_LESSONS

The first phase consists of sessions of useful lessons and guided tests aimed at equipping students with all the necessary tools. Furthermore, ongoing tutoring allows students to quickly fill any gaps.

8 lessons

Live online via Teams (60-90 min), on:

• Architectural and urban planning design

• Technological analysis of the artifact

#### 🔸 Phase 2 – Exercises & Reviews
• Exercises (typology, technology, regulations)
• Asynchronous reviews (files sent and corrected via ARCLOUD)
• Individual synchronous reviews

#### 🔸 Phase 3 – Design Simulations
3 complete simulations on real projects, with targeted feedback.

#### 🔸 Phase 4 – Legislation & Oral Exam
Webinar lessons on regulations (urban planning, construction, safety, fire prevention, procurement) and oral exam simulations.

COURSE DEVELOPMENT AND PHASES

The program is structured into several work sessions:

SESSION A: ARCHITECTURAL AND/OR URBAN PLANNING

FIRST PHASE: TRAINING

The cognitive phase, during which the method and concepts useful for carrying out exercises and interpreting architectural and/or urban planning projects will be provided, lasts approximately 3 weeks. It consists of one or two lessons per week. The schedule and lessons will be agreed upon with the instructor. Skype lessons are personalized to address individual knowledge gaps.

Recorded video lessons are not sterile.

SECOND PHASE: EXERCISES

This session allows students to acquire design tools in both architectural and urban planning disciplines, allowing them to then develop the project submitted for the exam.

A design workshop with exercises and revisions, during which the method and concepts useful for carrying out the exercises will be provided.

This consists of the development of exam topics and their revisions, organized and planned according to the exam location and the time allocated. This is done through revisions of the papers prepared at your own location, until each topic reaches a good standard.

In this phase, you will submit the exercises (Word - scan - detailed photo - DWG), which will be carefully reviewed and returned with corrections, suggestions, and, if necessary, discussed together via dedicated platforms.

A very important moment concerns the first exam.

B_LEGISLATIVE SESSION

Customized Skype webinar sessions on the relevant legislative frameworks.

The lessons have been optimized to better understand the legislation, including through a simplified and optimized learning path, using concept maps.
