The course takes place entirely online, from any computer connected to the Internet and is the only one of its kind in Italy.
The aim of this course is to provide architecture students and recent graduates with an effective and fast tool to present their design ideas by hand in a precise and understandable way.
In the digitized world, hand drawing has lost its importance in architectural design but as we know " sketching " is the basis of imagination and design.

We have created this course based on the need of architecture students and graduates for an economical and fast course with an innovative method for learning the layout and presentation of projects by hand in order to pass the State Exam.
It should be emphasized that the course aims to learn the self-assessment method and above all to fill the gaps in the design of graduates in architecture section A and B.
Consider this course as a complementary course to the online STATE EXAMINATION course for those who have difficulty designing or representing their project.
Our course is “ active ”, as it requires commitment to perform the exercises, it is not a simple aseptic e-learning course, a passive administration of information.
They are not aseptic video lessons.
The phases of the course
The course is developed in two phases:
1- Programming
The first phase is a series of lessons and basic exercises in order to equip the student with the necessary methods and tools and, with continuous tutoring, allows you to quickly fill the gaps.
2- Exercise
The second phase, the Design Review, consists in developing and revising urban and architectural themes, with continuous revisions. " There is no limit of exercises to be performed "
The program
The course is developed in six sections plus exercises of each section with a duration of 18 hours:
1- Multi-view drawing
Drawing of the plans, sections, elevations and the landscape.
2- Perspective drawings
Drawing of the elevations of 1, 2 and 3 vanishing points. Axonometry and isometric drawing;
3- Rendering of the tonal values
This section focuses on the principles that govern how a composition of lines and shapes conveys the illusion of a three-dimensional construction on a two-dimensional surface. While lines are essential to the task of delineating outline and shape, there are also visual qualities of light, texture, mass and space that cannot be fully described by line alone.
4- Rendering of the context
As we design and evaluate architecture in relation to its context, it is important to incorporate the context into the design of a design proposal. In addition to the physical context, we should indicate the scale and intended use of the spaces including human figures and furnishings.
5- Architectural presentation
the layout and the drawings that describe a design proposal in a graphic way intended to convince an audience of its value.
6- Freehand drawing
Freehand drawing allows us to freely start and work through ideas of a possible future that we imagine in the mind's eye. During the design process itself, freehand drawing of diagrams allows us to further explore these ideas and develop them into workable concepts.
Online Teaching and Tutoring
The ONLINE course is held by professors supported by a multidisciplinary research group that constantly makes use of consultancy from the academic world and famous architectural firms.
The personal tutor follows the students in the design and hand drawing phase. Through various platforms you will be in contact with the Tutor so that he can answer the students' questions and correct the themes developed by them.
